1. The government of the Republic of Korea takes note of the Saudi government’s announcement that the Saudi Air Defense Forces intercepted a missile launched by Houthi militias in Yemen on November 4 toward King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; and condemns in strong terms this missile attack that threatened the safety of civilians and international navigation.

2. Amid continued armed clashes in Yemen, the number of civilian casualties is growing, continuously worsening the humanitarian situation in the country. The government of the Republic of Korea urges all the relevant parties in Yemen and its neighboring countries to make efforts to restore peace and stability in Yemen and the rest of the Middle East.
