1. The Korean government welcomes the UN-mediated two-month extension of truce in Yemen and appreciates the efforts of UN Special Envoy for Yemen Hans Grundberg as well as countries concerned in enabling the truce process.

2. The Korean government expects that this extension of truce will create an opportunity to further improve humanitarian situation in Yemen and bring permanent peace to the country based on achievements of the past two-month truce.
